What is Being At Home In Your Body?

A pocket of calm in your week. A supportive community that cheers for your healing journey. 90 mins each week during term time, we gather together and co regulate using somatic practices that are tried and tested.

WHO IS BEING AT HOME IN YOUR BODY FOR?

Perhaps you've been living with ongoing health issues, persistent symptoms or a body that just doesn't seem to be responding in the way you'd hoped.

You've seen the specialists, had the investigations, tried different treatments and perhaps been told that your results are normal, that there's nothing more to be done, or that you simply have to learn to live with it.

And yet, deep down, you feel there is more to your story.

You wonder whether years of stress, difficult experiences, feeling constantly on alert or simply having to keep going have played a part in how your body feels today.

You recognise that your nervous system might be an important piece of the puzzle, but you're not quite sure where to begin.

Being At Home in Your Body is for you if:

  • You're living with chronic health issues, persistent inflammation, pain, fatigue or other ongoing symptoms.

  • You feel you've exhausted conventional routes and are still looking for a more holistic understanding of your health.

  • You have a history of chronic stress, trauma or prolonged periods of feeling overwhelmed.

  • You find it difficult to switch off, relax or feel genuinely safe and settled in your body.

  • You suspect that your nervous system, stress history and physical health are interconnected.

  • You want to understand your body's responses rather than constantly feeling at war with them.

  • You're ready to explore a different relationship with your body, with curiosity rather than frustration.

You don't need to have all the answers. You don't need to know exactly what's happening in your body.

You simply need to be curious about the possibility that supporting your nervous system could be an important part of supporting your overall wellbeing.

Because your health story is about more than symptoms.

Our experiences, our environment, our nervous systems and our physical health are all part of a bigger picture.

This is a space to begin exploring those connections, develop practical tools for everyday life and discover what it might feel like to be more at home in your body.
